Omega Seamaster 300 SPECTRE Limited Edition
James Bond’s (played by Daniel Craig) Omega Seamaster 300 SPECTRE Limited Edition watch is a must-have for fans of the iconic film series. In the movie SPECTRE, Bond is seen wearing this timepiece with a black and grey striped NATO strap, reference number 233.32.41.21.01.001. This limited edition model was released to the public, making it possible for fans to own the exact same watch worn by 007.
The Omega Seamaster 300 SPECTRE Limited Edition features a robust stainless steel case and a black and grey striped NATO strap, which is reminiscent of Bond’s original NATO strap seen in Goldfinger and Thunderball. The metal parts on the strap are engraved with the 007 gun logo and Omega, and if desired, the strap can be purchased separately from Omega without the engraved logo.
The Omega watch is powered by the Omega Master Co-Axial calibre 8400 which is a revolutionary movement with resistance to magnetic fields. It boasts a striking black dial with a rare “lollipop” central seconds hand and includes a broad arrow hour hand (which shows the connection to the military) and recessed triangular hour markers. The numbers on the bezel go from 1 to 11, with a 0 instead of the number 12.
The case back of the watch is engraved with the ‘SPECTRE’ film title and the limited number (out of 7,007 pieces) and comes in a beautiful box with the black and grey NATO strap, a additional steel strap, and some watch tools. The box even has a three-digit code, adding a touch of mystery and excitement.
In the movie SPECTRE, Bond wears the Omega Seamaster 300 SPECTRE Limited Edition watch in most scenes, and as usual, the watch even acts as a gadget. The limited edition watch was available for approximately £4750 at select Omega boutiques and retailers worldwide, but quickly sold out. Today, the watch can be found on eBay or grey market watch dealers.
