James Bond Land Rover

The Land Rover Series III has made appearances in two James Bond films, The Living Daylights (1987) and No Time To Die (2020). The legendary British car brand is an official partner of No Time To Die, and the blue Land Rover Series III is just one of the several Land Rover vehicles that will be featured in the film.

In No Time To Die, James Bond (Daniel Craig) drives the blue Land Rover Series III in Port Antonio, Jamaica. This right-hand drive vehicle has custom grey plastic wheel arches, a spare wheel on the bonnet, and a license plate reading 733 PFP. As Bond drives the car, he sports his signature style with Vuarnet Legend 06 sunglasses, Tom Ford jeans, Sperry shoes, a black Tommy Bahamas shirt, and an Omega Seamaster 300M Diver watch.

The Land Rover Series III was also featured in The Living Daylights, where a green army Land Rover played a significant role in the pre-title action sequence. Bond chased an assassin who was trying to escape in the vehicle from a military base in Gibraltar. The iconic car ultimately met its end in a dramatic explosion before crashing into the sea.

In addition to the Land Rover Series III, the New Defender, Range Rover Sport, and Range Rover Classic will also be seen in No Time To Die. Footage of the stunt drivers rehearsing with the New Defender was released in a Land Rover advertisement and a behind-the-scenes video.

The Series III Land Rover was produced from 1971 to 1990 and has since become a sought-after classic car. The inclusion of the Land Rover Series III in James Bond films has further solidified its place in automotive history and cemented its status as a favorite among fans of the legendary spy franchise.
