What Does James Bond Drink?
James Bond is famous for his taste in martinis, specifically the drink known as a “Vesper Martini.” This drink is a mixture of gin, vodka, and Kina Lillet, stirred (not shaken) and served with a lemon twist. In the novels by Ian Fleming, Bond is said to have specified the ingredients and preparation of the Vesper Martini as follows: “Three measures of Gordon’s, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it’s ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel.” The Vesper Martini has become one of the most iconic drinks in popular culture and is often associated with the James Bond franchise.
